APL has been using a variant of the Chester County Library System logo for years. Last year we embarked on a logo design process with Ms. Minnich's Graphic Design students at Octorara Junior-Senior High School. Three students presented excellent concepts, and Library trustee Elena Tachau worked with them to refine the design. We are so pleased to present our new logo, designed by Ms. Lydia Ridderhof, a senior OACTEP student in the Graphic Arts and Design Program at OAHS. The logo represents both the new beginnings patrons can find through our library resources and the community's rolling farmland and iconic sunsets.
