With the Library of Things, you can borrow items not traditionally found in a library. We have recently added cake pans, jigsaw puzzles, and STEM kits to the LoT. Museum passes and hot spots are also available.
Museum and Garden Passes
We currently have passes to American Helicopter Museum, Brandywine Museum of Art, Brinton 1704 House, Chanticleer Garden, and Mt Cuba Center. Several of these passes are printable, but some of them must be picked up and returned inside the library. Look for the printer icon next to the museum’s name. Passes to other museums are available from other CCLS libraries. Some of these passes are also printable, so they do not have to be picked up and returned to the owning library.
Wi-Fi at home: borrow a hotspot
Internet down? Borrow the Internet! Atglen Public Library has partnered with T-Mobile to offer mobile hotspots to our customers for $2.00 per day. The Library hotspot program allows library card holders to access unlimited, high-speed Internet service anywhere a T-Mobile signal can be received. Connect up to ten devices at a time, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Perfect for those who have no Internet access at home, are going on vacation, or are taking their business on the road.
