Books For All Readers: Decodable Books & Literacy Initiatives at the Library

Graphic featuring information regarding Books For All Readers: Decodable Books & Literacy Initiatives at the Library on June 5 at Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 6, at 5:30 – 7:30 PM.  Join us at Henrietta Hankin Branch Library in Chester Springs as we present “Books For All Readers: Decodable Books & Literacy Initiatives at the Library” which will provide information about using decodable books in public libraries to help support skilled reading for all children. Ten public libraries across Senate District 44 will receive decodable book collections in the coming weeks with funding from Pennsylvania's allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds as announced by State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks). This initiative will help improve and promote reading fluency and accuracy for all children. Please register for the workshop at https://bit.ly/DecodableBooks.
