One Card, Endless Possibilities: Celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month This September

Discover how a single card can unlock a world of opportunity. From early learners at storytime to seniors exploring new passions, a library card is more than just a way to borrow books—it’s a passport to lifelong learning, community connection, and personal growth.

“Libraries are more than just books—they are dynamic spaces that shape lives, foster connections, and provide opportunities for all,” says Michael Skay, Board President of the Chester County Library System. “Whether through early literacy programs, job-seeker support, or lifelong learning initiatives, our libraries remain a cornerstone of community engagement and personal growth.”

Whether you're diving into a new hobby, brushing up on tech skills, helping your child succeed in school, or simply searching for your next great read, it all starts with a library card.

Signing up is free, easy, and empowering. Visit us at the Library or sign up online. With a library card, the possibilities are truly endless!

Courses are available in 20+ languages, and you can learn at your own pace—anytime, anywhere. You’ll also have the ability to track your progress, bookmark courses, and earn completion certificates. The LinkedIn Learning app makes learning on the go even easier! Just click here to get started!

This $240 value is available free with your library card through the generosity of the Justamere Foundation. Lori Cushman, President of the Justamere Foundation, says “Libraries stay relevant by listening to the needs of the community and exploring innovative ways to educate and enlighten. Providing free access to the powerful LinkedIn Learning tools will expand the opportunities for all of Chester County Library System patrons for both employment enrichment and personal knowledge.”
